The miraculous feeding of the 5,000 (and this is only the number of men; the women and children were not numbered in accordance with contemporary custom)is the ONLY miracle of provision performed by Jesus that is mentioned in all four Gospels.
WHY?
That very same question came up for me one night while reading the account in Luke (Ch 9: v10-16) and prompted the pursuit of further revelation and knowledge that has led to this blog.
